NIFT 2025 Round 3 Seat Allotment Declaring Tomorrow, July 28: What to Do Next?

The NIFT counselling is a multi-stage process designed to allocate seats based on merit rank, candidate preferences, and seat availability. The Round 3 allotment is particularly important as it is one of the final regular counselling rounds before the spot admissions.

• Result Release Date: The NIFT 2025 Round 3 Seat Allotment result will be published on July 28, 2025.
• Where to Check: Candidates must visit the official NIFT counselling portal, nift.admissions.nic.in, to check their allotment status and download their provisional allotment letter. They will need to log in using their credentials.

Crucial Post-Allotment Steps and Upcoming Deadlines:

Once the allotment results are declared, shortlisted candidates must take immediate action to confirm their admission:

1. Willingness Submission & Admission Fee Payment (July 28 - 29, 2025): Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat in Round 3 must submit their willingness to accept the seat and proceed to pay the required admission fee. This crucial step must be completed between July 28 and July 29, 2025 (until 12:00 Midnight). Failure to complete this within the deadline may lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.
2. Physical Reporting at Allotted Institute (July 30, 2025): Following the willingness submission and fee payment, all candidates who have secured a seat in any of the three regular allotment rounds are required to physically report to their allotted NIFT campus on July 30, 2025. During physical reporting, essential documents will be verified, and further admission formalities will be completed. Candidates must carry all original documents as specified in the NIFT counselling guidelines.

Looking Ahead: NIFT Spot Round 2025

For aspirants who do not receive an allotment in Round 3 or remain unsatisfied with their allotted seat, NIFT will conduct a Spot Round of Counselling. This round aims to fill any vacant seats remaining after the regular counselling phases.

• Spot Round Registration: The registration and participation fee payment for the NIFT 2025 Spot Round is scheduled from August 1 to August 4, 2025.
• Spot Round Seat Allotment: The seat allotment for the Spot Round is slated for August 8, 2025.
• Physical Reporting for Spot Round: Candidates allotted seats in the Spot Round will report to their institutes on August 11, 2025.
