The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has uploaded the NEET UG 2026 Round 1 provisional seat allotment result on its official website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates who participated in Round 1 choice filling can check their provisional allotment for colleges, courses, categories and quotas through the MCC portal. Candidates who find any discrepancy in the provisional allotment can raise objections through the Candidate Grievance and Query Redressal System. The deadline to submit objections is 3:59 PM on August 21, 2026. MCC will consider the objections before releasing the final Round 1 seat allotment result. The provisional allotment does not provide candidates with any final claim over the seats displayed.

How to Check NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Provisional Allotment?

Candidates can check their allotment by logging into the MCC portal using their NEET UG 2026 roll number and password.

Steps to Check the Allotment

  1. Visit mcc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the UG Medical Counselling tab.
  3. Select the link for Round 1 Provisional Allotment.
  4. Enter the roll number, password and security pin.
  5. View the provisional allotment displayed on the screen.
  6. Check the allotted college, course, category and quota.
  7. Download the allotment result as a PDF for future reference.

How to Raise an Objection Against the Provisional Allotment?

Candidates who notice an error in their provisional allotment can submit a grievance through the Candidate Grievance and Query Redressal System on the MCC website.

MCC has specified that only the following 3 types of grievances will be addressed:

  • Incorrect personal details appearing in the allotment list.
  • Incorrect category, quota or seat type.
  • Incorrect course mentioned in the allotment.
  • General queries regarding the allotment will not be considered as grievances.

Steps to Submit an Objection

  1. Log in to the candidate portal at mcc.nic.in.
  2. Select the Candidate Grievance and Query Redressal System.
  3. Choose the relevant grievance category.
  4. Provide details of the discrepancy.
  5. Upload the required supporting documents.
  6. Submit the grievance before 3:59 PM on August 21, 2026.

What Should Candidates Do After Seat Allotment?

Candidates who have been allotted seats must report to their respective institutes within the prescribed timeline. They should carry their allotment letter and original documents for verification.
