The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 re-exam at neet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 re-exam at neet.nta.nic.in. Abhishek Singh, the head of NTA, confirmed that the result will come out faster than anticipated. NTA aims to ensure there is no delay in the medical college counseling process. Singh mentioned that there were no complaints about leaks this time. The result window is now expected to open before the initial estimate.

What the NTA Chief Said

Abhishek Singh, the director general of NTA, shared the update shortly after the re-examination. He said the result will be announced as soon as possible. He also said that NTA wants to keep the counseling schedule on track. Singh also confirmed that the re-exam was conducted smoothly across the country. NTA worked with state governments, paramilitary forces, railways, and the Air Force. The entire re-exam was completed within 37 days of the cancellation.

How to Download the Re NEET UG 2026 Scorecard 

Candidates can download the scorecard once NTA activates the result link. Here are the steps to access the scorecard PDF.

  1. Visit the official NTA NEET portal at neet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Click on the Re NEET UG 2026 result download link.
  3. Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
  4. Submit the details and view your scorecard on screen.
  5. Download the PDF and take a printout for counselling.

Details Mentioned on the Scorecard

The scorecard will show important information for each candidate, which is needed during the counseling process. 

  • Candidate name, roll number, and application number
  • Subject-wise marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
  • Total score and percentile
  • All-India Rank and category rank
  • Qualifying status and category cut-off

Qualifying Percentile for Re NEET UG 2026

NTA sets a minimum qualifying percentile every year. Candidates must meet this cut-off to be eligible for medical counseling.

What Happens After the Result

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will take care of the all-India quota seats. State authorities will handle the state quota admissions. AIIMS, JIPMER, and deemed universities will also use these scores for entry. Admissions cover 15 percent under the All India Quota. The remaining 85 percent is handled through state-level counseling. Qualified candidates must register on the MCC portal for the central seats.
