On April 27, 2026, the agency released a statement explaining the technical difficulties candidates experienced due to heavy website traffic. NTA explained that technical errors often happen during peak times and provided guidance on how candidates could fix the problem and successfully download their hall tickets. They also mentioned that more than 11 lakh candidates out of the total 22.79 lakh registered had already downloaded their admit cards without any issues. 

The statement from NTA clearly shows their commitment to assisting students in getting their admission cards before the exams. It was evident that NTA understood how important the admission card download was, as it is essential for taking the NEET UG 2026 exam. NTA has assured students that they should not get worried if they encounter any technical issues, as there will always be a way to resolve them. If the problem continues, candidates are advised to contact the NTA helpline and provide their application number.

To download the NEET UG 2026 To get your admit card, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the NTA website at www.neet.nta.nic.in using your web browser.
2. Go to the Candidate Activity section on the homepage.
3. Choose the NEET UG Admit Card 2026 option from the dropdown menu.
4. Enter your application number in the required field.
5. Input your date of birth in the specified box.
6. Enter the security pin that is displayed on the screen.
7. Click the Submit button to retrieve your admit card.
8. Your admit card will appear on the screen along with all the examination details.
9. Save the admit card in PDF format on your device.
10. Print a colored copy of the admit card on A4-sized paper for the exam. 

Solution to Troubleshoot the NEET Admit Card Download

To resolve issues with downloading the NEET admit card, the National Testing Agency has suggested some quick fixes. Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can improve page loading speed and fix many download problems. Trying to download the admit card in incognito or private mode may also help avoid any technical issues.

If the problem persists, switching to a different browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox could be beneficial. Additionally, ensuring you have a stable and fast internet connection is important for a smooth download experience.

The NTA team will provide personal help to resolve their issue. Candidates don't have to worry about problems with downloading the admit cards, as per NTA's confirmation, all admit cards will be issued by 10:00 AM on April 27, 2026.
