NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Allotment Result Final, MCC Ends Confusion

In a major relief for thousands of medical aspirants, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a crucial notice clarifying that the NEET UG 2025 Round 2 final seat allotment result remains unchanged. This announcement puts an end to the confusion and uncertainty that followed the temporary withdrawal of the result due to a reported data error. The MCC has confirmed that the discrepancy has been rectified and candidates should proceed with the admission process as per the original schedule.

A Reversal of Decision: The Result Stands

The initial confusion arose after a notice was issued to withdraw the result due to an error in the seat matrix of a single government medical college. This led to a temporary suspension of the reporting process. However, the MCC's latest clarification supersedes that earlier notice. This swift action demonstrates the committee's commitment to a fair and transparent counselling process, ensuring that the results declared are final and reliable. Candidates who had previously downloaded their allotment letters can now use them with confidence.

Crucial Dates and Instructions for Aspirants

With the result now final, the focus has shifted entirely to the physical reporting process. Aspirants must act quickly and diligently to secure their allotted seats. The deadline for this crucial step is approaching fast, and no extensions are expected.

Here are the key actions and dates you need to be aware of:

• Reporting Start Date: The physical reporting and admission process began on September 18, 2025.
• Reporting End Date: Candidates have until September 25, 2025, to report to their respective institutions and complete all admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment.
• Final Allotment: The seat you have been allotted in this final list is the one you must accept if you wish to secure a seat in this round.

What Candidates Need to Do Now

With the confusion cleared, there is no time to lose. Aspirants who have been allotted a seat must immediately download their final allotment letter from the official MCC website. They should then prepare all necessary original documents and photocopies to present at the college. This is the last chance to secure a seat from this round of counselling. Remember, this round operates under a "no free exit" policy, meaning failure to report will result in the forfeiture of your security deposit.
