NEET SS 2025 Stray Vacancy Round: Seat Allotment Results to Be Declared Today

For super speciality medical aspirants who participated in the NEET SS 2025 Stray Vacancy Round of counselling, today, July 30, 2025, is a highly anticipated day. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), is set to declare the seat allotment results for this final round of counselling for admission to DM, M.Ch, and DNB SS courses.

The Stray Vacancy Round is crucial as it aims to fill any remaining vacant seats after the conclusion of previous counselling rounds. Candidates who registered, paid fees, and filled choices between July 24 and July 28, and whose seat allotment was processed on July 28-29, will finally know their fate today. This is often the last opportunity for many to secure a coveted super speciality seat.

Key Dates and Immediate Actions:

Aspirants need to be ready for the swift actions required following today's result declaration:

• Registration, Fee Payment (Stray Round): July 24 - July 27, 2025 (Concluded)
• Choice Filling & Locking (Stray Round): July 24 - July 28, 2025 (Concluded)
• Seat Allotment Processing: July 28 - July 29, 2025 (Concluded)
• Seat Allotment Result Declaration: July 30, 2025 (Today)
• Reporting to Allotted Institutes: July 31 - August 5, 2025

Checking Results and Next Steps:

Candidates can check their seat allotment status by visiting the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in, and navigating to the Super Speciality counselling section. They will typically need to log in with their credentials to access their individual allotment letter.

Upon checking the results, candidates who have been allotted a seat and wish to confirm their admission must proceed to the allotted institute for physical joining and document verification. This process is scheduled to begin tomorrow, July 31, 2025, and will continue until August 5, 2025.

It is imperative for candidates to report within this stipulated timeframe with all original documents and the prescribed admission fees. The MCC has clearly stated that once a seat is allotted in the Stray Vacancy Round, there will be no option for further rounds or upgrades. Failure to report to the allotted institute within the specified period will lead to the forfeiture of the allotted seat.

This round provides a critical final chance for eligible candidates to enter highly specialized medical fields. NEET SS aspirants are urged to promptly check their results and adhere strictly to the reporting deadlines to realize their dreams of pursuing super speciality medical education.
