The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has released the final seat allotment result for NEET SS 2025 Round 2.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has released the final seat allotment result for NEET SS 2025 Round 2. Candidates can check their allotment results on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in. The final result was released on August 13, 2026, following the provisional allotment result issued earlier the same day. Candidates were allowed to report discrepancies until 5 PM on August 13 by sending their queries to mccresultquery@gmail.com. The allotment list is now considered final. Candidates who have been allotted seats must report to their respective institutes between August 14 and August 20, 2026. Failure to report within the deadline will result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

How to Check NEET SS 2025 Round 2 Allotment Result?

Candidates can download their allotment letter by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the Super Speciality Counselling section.
  3. Open the link for the Round 2 Seat Allotment Result.
  4. Enter your NEET SS 2025 Roll Number and Password.
  5. Check the allotted college, course and category.
  6. Download and print the allotment letter for reporting.

NEET SS 2025 Round 2 Seat Matrix Changes

  • The MCC revised the seat matrix before the choice-filling process.
  • The Tamil Nadu State Selection Committee returned 153 in-service super speciality seats.
  • These seats were subsequently added back to the counselling pool following a Supreme Court order.
  • Eight DNB Super Speciality seats were removed from five institutes.
  • The removed seats were in Neurology, Neonatology, Cardiology and Surgical Oncology.
  • Candidates were advised to check the final seat matrix before making or confirming their choices.

Documents Required for Reporting

Candidates must carry all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies. The required documents include:

  1. NEET SS 2025 admit card and result/scorecard
  2. Round 2 provisional allotment letter downloaded from MCC
  3. MBBS and MD/MS/DNB degree certificates and mark sheets
  4. MCI/NMC permanent registration certificate
  5. Internship completion certificates for MBBS and postgraduate courses
  6. Proof of date of birth, such as a Class 10 certificate
  7. Category, PwD or in-service certificate, wherever applicable
  8. Valid government-issued photo ID proof

What Happens After Reporting?

The allotted institute will verify the candidate's documents and eligibility during reporting. Candidates who fulfil all requirements will be admitted to the allotted course. Candidates who fail to report by August 20, 2026, will lose their allotted seats. Vacant seats remaining after Round 2 will be considered for the stray vacancy round. No fresh registrations will be permitted at this stage, and only candidates registered in the earlier rounds will be considered.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in to mcc.nic.in and download the Round 2 allotment letter.
  2. Verify the allotted college, course and category.
  3. Prepare all original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies.
  4. Report to the allotted institute between August 14 and August 20, 2026.
  5. Complete the document verification and admission formalities.
  6. Collect the joining report and admission acknowledgment from the institute.
