Why the deadlines differ
Payment has extra time. Registration does not.
Registration closes at 12 noon on 21 October, but payment runs until 3 PM that day. Candidates cannot use the payment window to register late.
Choice locking begins on 21 October at 4 PM, before choice filling ends, so candidates should not wait for the last morning.
