The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the NEET PG 2026 scorecard and answer key on October 1, 2026. How to download the NEET PG 2026 answer key
- Go to the NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in.
- Open the Public Notice section and find the answer key link.
- Click the link.
- The answer key PDF will open.
Candidates can also reach the response sheet through the login portal with their user ID and password.

What the documents show
Scorecard: score out of 720, total correct responses, total incorrect responses, NEET PG 2026 rank and cutoff score.
Answer key and response sheet: section-wise question IDs, response status (answered or not attempted), the correct answer key ID (1, 2, 3 or 4) for each question, the response you marked, and the score for each question.
How to calculate your score
Each correct answer carries 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Compare your marked responses with the answer key and apply this scheme.

If your calculated score differs from the final score, candidates can raise it through the NBEMS Communication Web Portal (exam.natboard.edu.in/communication.php?page=main) [VERIFY link].

What happens next: MCC counselling
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts NEET PG counselling for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) postgraduate seats. The MCC notification and schedule are yet to be announced. The process covers registration, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting. Only candidates who meet the qualifying cutoff can take part.
Keep a printed copy of the scorecard, as it will be required during admission. Download it within 6 months of release [VERIFY: one live entry says the portal stays active until March 2027, which doesn't match 6 months from October 1].
