Published 14 Sept 20264 min read
NEET PG 2026, Live Update — September 14, 2026: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has not yet released the NEET PG 2026 provisional answer key. It is expected soon on the official website, natboard.edu.in. This year carries an added significance: NBEMS is set to release the answer key together with each candidate's individual response sheet for the first time, following a Supreme Court directive on examination transparency. The NEET PG 2026 result is tentatively scheduled for September 30, 2026.
NEET PG 2026 Answer Key: What's Confirmed So Far
- NEET PG 2026 was conducted on August 30, 2026, for more than 2.65 lakh candidates.
- A re-exam was held on September 5, 2026, for candidates affected by a power failure at Sitapura, Jaipur centres — reported elsewhere as affecting roughly 2,445 candidates.
- NBEMS has not announced a specific date for the answer key release; candidates are advised to keep checking the official website.
- The response sheet — a digital record of each candidate's marked responses — is expected to be released alongside the answer key.
- The result is tentatively set for September 30, 2026, though based on past NBEMS trends it could be released earlier than scheduled. It's also possible the result and answer key are issued on the same day. [VERIFY closer to the date, since this remains an expectation, not a confirmed plan.]

The scorecard includes the roll number, score, All India Rank, category rank, and the number of correct and incorrect answers — and is required at multiple stages of the admission and counselling process.
Candidates will also get an opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key online, with supporting documentation, once NBEMS announces the objection window.
