In a significant update for postgraduate medical aspirants, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially released the NEET PG 2025 merit list for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. This crucial list is now available on the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in, and serves as a vital document for candidates preparing for the upcoming counselling sessions.
The merit list includes the overall NEET PG 2025 rank, the AIQ rank, and the category-wise AIQ rank for all candidates who have qualified for the exam and are eligible for counselling. This declaration marks the final step before the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) begins the online registration for the 50% AIQ seats in MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses.
Scorecards Available September 5
While the merit list provides a candidate's rank, the official NEET PG 2025 scorecard will be available for download from the NBEMS website on or after September 5, 2025. Candidates will need this scorecard for the counselling and admission process, so it's essential to download and save it securely. NBEMS has clarified that a physical copy of the scorecard will not be sent to individual candidates. The scorecard will be available for a period of six months from the date of release.
Counselling Process and Key Details
The counselling process for the 50% AIQ seats is conducted entirely online by the MCC. While the official schedule is yet to be announced, it is expected to be released on the MCC's website, mcc.nic.in, in the coming days.
Aspirants who meet the minimum cut-off marks are eligible to participate in the counselling. It is important to remember that the state quota merit lists will be prepared and released separately by the respective state counselling authorities. Candidates are advised to keep a close watch on both the MCC and their state's official counselling websites for the latest updates.
