The release of the NEET PG 2025 answer key has caused a stir among students, who are voicing concerns over alleged discrepancies and the timing of its release on various social media platforms. ________________________________________

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially released the answer key for NEET PG 2025, but the move has ignited a storm of frustration among medical aspirants. The release has been met with widespread outrage on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Telegram, where students are openly expressing their concerns and disappointment.

A key point of contention for many aspirants is the timing of the answer key's release—it came out after the results were already declared. Students feel this renders the exercise redundant and fails to serve its purpose of allowing them to verify their scores before the final result. In addition, candidates have highlighted the challenge of the answer key displaying only question IDs instead of the complete questions, which makes it difficult to cross-check their responses accurately.

Student Concerns & Call for Transparency

While the decision to release the answer key for the NEET PG 2025 session was made following a Supreme Court directive to ensure greater transparency in the examination process, many students believe the implementation falls short. The current format has been criticized by aspirants who say it creates unnecessary confusion and adds to their pre-counselling anxiety. Students are now turning to unofficial answer keys from various coaching centers to get a clearer picture of their performance, even as they wait for an official response from the NBEMS.

What's Next for Aspirants?

Amidst the controversy, candidates who have qualified for the exam can now download their NEET PG 2025 scorecard, a mandatory document for the upcoming counselling process. Aspirants are advised to keep a close watch on the official website for any further announcements regarding the answer key or the counselling schedule.
