NEET MDS Counselling 2025 Round 1 Registration has officially begun on mcc.nic.in, inviting Medical Aspirants for Postgraduate Dental admissions. Candidates must complete their Online Registration, Fee Payment, and crucial Choice Filling by July 3, 2025. This is a vital step towards securing MDS Admissions in top Dental Colleges across India under the All India Quota and other categories for the Academic Year 2025-26.

A significant phase has commenced for Medical Aspirants aiming for postgraduate dental studies across India, as the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) officially opened the NEET MDS Counselling 2025 Round 1 Registration on June 27, 2025. This highly anticipated process, accessible via the official website mcc.nic.in, is the gateway for eligible candidates to secure MDS Admissions in various prestigious Dental Colleges for the Academic Year 2025-26.

With the registration window now active, Medical Aspirants who have qualified NEET MDS 2025 must prioritize completing all necessary steps, including Online Registration, Fee Payment, and the crucial Choice Filling process, well before the deadline of July 3, 2025. This Counselling Process covers 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in Government Dental Colleges, 100% seats in Deemed Universities, Central Universities (like DU, BHU, AMU), ESIC colleges, and Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) institutions. Timely and accurate submission is paramount for a successful Admission Process into Higher Education Medical programs in dental sciences.

Step-by-Step Guide to NEET MDS Round 1 Registration

For Medical Aspirants ready to apply for NEET MDS Counselling 2025 Round 1, here’s a detailed guide to the Registration Process:

Access the MCC Portal: Visit mcc.nic.in. Look for the "PG Medical Counselling" section and click on the relevant link for "NEET MDS Counselling".

New Candidate Registration: Click on the "New Registration" link. Candidates will need to provide their NEET MDS 2025 Roll Number, Application Number, Date of Birth, and security pin to create their login credentials.

Fill Application Form: Once registered, log in to the Counselling Portal and meticulously fill out the Application Form. This includes personal details, academic qualifications, NEET MDS Score details, contact information, and other required data. Accuracy is vital for Dental Education admissions.

Upload Required Documents: Candidates must upload scanned copies of all necessary Required Documents as per the specifications. This typically includes the NEET MDS Score Card and Admit Card, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, BDS mark sheets, Internship Completion Certificate, Provisional/Permanent Registration Certificate from DCI/State Dental Council, Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable), Domicile Certificate, and passport-sized photographs.

Pay Counselling Fee: A non-refundable Registration Fee is required: INR 1,000 for General/OBC categories and INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD. Additionally, a refundable security deposit is mandatory: INR 25,000 for All India Quota/Central Universities seats and INR 2,00,000 for Deemed Universities seats. Payment can be made online via debit/credit card or net banking.

Completing these steps by July 3, 2025 (12:00 Noon for registration, 05:00 PM for fee and choice locking) is essential for participation in the subsequent Seat Allotment process.

The Importance of Choice Filling and Upcoming Schedule

The Choice Filling and Choice Locking phase is arguably the most critical part of NEET MDS Counselling 2025 Round 1, directly impacting MDS Admissions:

Strategic Choice Filling: After successful registration and fee payment, candidates gain access to fill their choices of dental colleges and specialization programs. It is crucial for Medical Aspirants to research Dental Colleges thoroughly and fill as many choices as possible, arranging them in their strict order of preference. The MCC system will allot the highest possible preference based on the candidate's NEET MDS Score and rank.

Choice Locking Deadline: The deadline for Choice Filling and Choice Locking is also July 3, 2025, by 05:00 PM. Candidates must ensure their choices are locked before this time. If choices are not explicitly locked, the system will auto-lock them at the deadline based on the last saved choices.

Seat Allotment Processing: Following the choice locking deadline, MCC will process the Seat Allotment for Round 1 from July 4 to July 5, 2025. This involves matching candidate ranks and preferences with available seats.

Round 1 Seat Allotment Result: The much-awaited NEET MDS Round 1 Seat Allotment Result will be declared on July 6, 2025, on mcc.nic.in. Candidates must download their provisional allotment letter upon checking the result.

Adhering to these Important Dates in the Counselling Schedule is vital for securing a seat.

Post-Allotment Procedures and Future Rounds

Upon Seat Allotment, Medical Aspirants must complete specific formalities to confirm their MDS Admissions:

Reporting to Allotted Colleges: Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat must report to the respective Dental Colleges between July 7 and July 12, 2025. This involves Document Verification (submission of all original Required Documents and their photocopies) and payment of the college tuition fees to confirm the admission.

Options After Allotment: Candidates typically have options to 'Accept' the seat (and not participate in further rounds), 'Upgrade' (accept the seat but wish to be considered for a higher preference in subsequent rounds), or 'Resign' (forfeit the seat and participate in later rounds if eligible).

Subsequent Counselling Rounds: For candidates who do not get an allotment in Round 1 or wish for an upgrade, MCC will conduct subsequent Counselling Rounds (Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round) to fill the remaining vacant seats in Dental Colleges.

This active phase of NEET MDS Counselling 2025 Round 1 Registration is a crucial juncture for all Medical Aspirants aiming for Postgraduate Dental studies. Ensure all registration steps are completed diligently by July 3, 2025, on mcc.nic.in.
