The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences takes an examination called NEET MDS ( National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery) is going to release the admit cards for the examinations today on April 29.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences takes an examination called NEET MDS ( National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery).  The admit cards of NEET MDS are going to be released today on April 29. This is a postgraduate program after a candidate has received Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognised university or an affiliated medical college. 

To apply for this program, a candidate must have a registration from the Dental Council of India or Dental Council of any state. The candidate should have completed a year long rotatory internship by a specific date. 

Like many others, the examination is computer based and takes place for three hours. There are 240 questions and all of them are Multiple Choice Based. All subjects taught to students in their Bachelor of Dental Surgery program are considered as syllabus. A large number of questions are asked from Oral Pathology, Orthodontics and Oral Surgery domain. 

The examination is going to be held on May 2 and the results of the exam will be declared on June 2. A fact that should be kept in mind is that the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences is an independent organisation under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 

The National Board marks the standard for postgraduate medical education. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences conducts national level examinations and provides affiliation to institutions based on their standard of academics. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences provides gateways to postgraduate institutions and super speciality institutions.
