The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the NEET UG 2026 provisional answer key on its official website — neet.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the NEET UG 2026 provisional answer key on its official website — neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 can now check the provisional answer key, response sheet, and question paper online.

The NEET UG 2026 examination was conducted on May 3, 2026, in a single shift from 2 PM to 5 PM across examination centres throughout the country. Within a few days of the exam, NTA uploaded the provisional answer key to help candidates estimate their probable scores before the official result declaration.

Students can access the NEET answer key and OMR response sheet using their application number and password through the official login portal. Along with the answer key, NTA is also expected to activate the objection or challenge window shortly. Candidates who find discrepancies in any answer can submit objections online by paying the prescribed challenge fee per question.

What Happens After the Final Answer Key?

After reviewing all objections, NTA will release the NEET UG 2026 final answer key. The NEET result 2026 and All India Rank (AIR) will be prepared based on this final key. The scores will then be used for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BSc Nursing, and other medical admission counselling processes across India.
