The NCHMCT JEE 2026 counselling application process will start on June 1, 2026, at the official website nchmcounselling.nic.in. Candidates are required to register again and complete the first-round choice form submission by June 4, 2026. They will also have to pay a non-refundable counselling registration fee of ₹2,000. The counselling process will consist of three rounds of seat allocation, followed by document verification, seat acceptance, and finally, the candidate's physical attendance at the assigned institution. All eligible candidates must complete the entire counselling process before the set deadline. This includes paying a seat acceptance fee of ₹20,000, uploading all required documents, and selecting one of the two options—float or freeze. Depending on the choice made, the candidate will either be eligible for further rounds or not.

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Counselling Registration Procedure

  • Candidates should visit the counselling website at nchmcounselling.nic.in and register using their application number and date of birth.
  • After creating a login ID, the candidate must select their preferred institution and course.
  • A seat acceptance fee of Rs. 20,000 needs to be paid during the document upload process, which takes place from 7th to 9th June, 2026.
  • Additionally, candidates are required to upload scanned copies of necessary documents like certificates, identity proof, and category certificates, if applicable.
  • Document verification will be carried out according to the schedule provided by the relevant authority.

Floating & Freezing Options

When submitting the document, candidates will need to choose one of the two options below:

  • Floating: This means candidates can continue with more counselling sessions to get a better seat or a more preferred institution.
  • Freezing: This option allows candidates to permanently lock their assigned seat.

Also, candidates can cancel their seats online between June 7th and June 9th, 2026, without any penalty for the seat acceptance fee. However, this option will be available only after the first round of seat allocation. 

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Admission and Reporting Process 

Admitted candidates need to report physically to their assigned institutes between June 20 and July 24, 2026. They should reach out to the IHM for guidance on the steps and procedures for reporting at their allocated institution. Hostel allotment will start from July 15, 2026, and the results of the hostel allocation will be announced on July 16, 2026. The hostel seats will be assigned based on the candidate's merit and the availability of rooms.

What’s Next?

The new academic session will begin on July 27, 2026. It is recommended that admitted students complete their admission formalities before the new academic year starts.

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Counseling Process

The counselling for JEE 2026 is planned from June 1 to July 27, 2026. The counselling process includes three rounds of seat allocation, followed by the confirmation of the allotted seats.
