The NTA will publish the answer key for NCHMCT JEE 2026 on its official website, which is exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM. Based on previous years, the answer key is expected to be available between May 4th and May 8th, 2026. Candidates will need to use their application number and date of birth to download the answer key as a PDF file. It helps candidates compare their answers with the correct ones and calculate their estimated scores before the final answer key is released.

The NCHMCT JEE 2026 entrance exam took place on April 25th, 2026, for admission into the Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Hospitality Administration (BSc HHA). The exam had 120 multiple-choice questions and was worth a total of 480 marks. Candidates who pass the exam will be eligible to participate in the counseling process conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology. The answer key is a useful tool for candidates to assess their own performance.

Test-takers can check their probable score in the NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam by comparing their answers with the official answer key. If a candidate answers a question correctly, they get 4 marks. However, for each wrong answer, they lose 1 mark.

If a question is left unanswered, the candidate gets 0 marks. Students can use the official answer key to review their responses and calculate their scores accurately. The scores can be calculated for each subject to help understand the candidate's strong and weak areas.

Procedure for Challenging the NCHMCT JEE 2026 Answer Key

Once the provisional answer key is released, the National Testing Agency starts the process for students to challenge any questions they believe are incorrect. Students can file objections online through the official website. They need to choose the specific question they want to dispute.

Along with the objection, they must provide supporting documents to justify their claim. Each objection raised will cost INR 200 per question. Only students with valid reasons should raise objections, as frivolous ones are not useful.

Documents Needed for NCHMCT JEE 2026 Counselling

Students should prepare both the original and duplicate copies of the required documents before beginning the NCHMCT JEE 2026 counseling process. The necessary documents are the NCHMCT JEE 2026 scorecard, mark sheets from classes 10 and 12, proof of identity such as an Aadhaar card or passport, a category certificate if you belong to OBC/NCC/SC/ST, and passport-sized photographs.

Once the result is downloaded, it is important to check all the information on the scorecard carefully. If there are any mistakes or differences, they should be brought to the attention of the relevant authorities before starting the counseling.

What to Expect Next?

The NCHMCT JEE 2026 result is expected to be announced a few days after the last answer key is released by the National Testing Agency. Candidates who pass the exam can then apply for the counseling process, which happens in multiple rounds.

During counseling, seats are allocated based on the candidate's rank, their preferred colleges, the courses they want to pursue, and the availability of seats. It is advisable for students to regularly check the official counseling website, nchmcounselling.nic.in, for updates on registration and the dates for filling choices.
