The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key for the NCET 2026 exam on April 28, 2026. The NCET 2026 exam was held on April 17 and 18, 2026, in a computer-based test format at various test centers across India. A total of 73,608 candidates took part in the exam. Now, candidates can go to the official website exams.nta.nic.in to view their question papers along with the answers and submit any objections if they have them.

Objection Process for NCET 2026 Answer Key
If you disagree with the provisional answer key for NCET 2026, you can raise an objection on the website www.exams.nta.nic.in. To do this, you need to log in by entering your application number and password. Once logged in, you will be asked to enter a captcha code. After that, select the option "Challenges regarding Answer Key," and you will see all the question IDs for NCET 2026. For each question you want to challenge, choose the correct answer by clicking the tick box. You can save your objection before moving to the payment section. A fee of 200 is charged for each question, and this fee is not refundable. You can pay the fee using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI, and the payment must be made by 11:50 PM on 30th April 2026.
Submission of Fee and Challenge for NCET 2026 Payment
Any objection submitted without payment of the fee will not be considered. The fee must be paid through the official online payment process provided. Candidates are required to select the specific question and options they wish to challenge before making the payment, as no objections will be accepted after April 30, 2026, at 11:50 PM. A fee of 200 will be charged for each objection raised, irrespective of the reason.
What's Ahead for Students
If any candidate's objection is found to be valid, the answer key will be corrected, and these changes will apply to all applicants' marked answers. After reviewing all the objections raised by candidates, subject experts will finalize the answer keys.
These final answer keys will be used to declare the results of NCET 2026. No separate communication will be sent to any candidate informing them whether their objection has been accepted or rejected. The answer keys prepared by the experts after considering all objections will be the final and official ones used for preparing the results.
