The National Board of Examinations has started the in-person distribution of FMGE December 2025 pass certificates. Qualified doctors must report to the NBEMS office in Delhi with an entry slip and original documents.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially started the process of giving out pass certificates for the FMGE December 2025 session. Starting today, February 23, 2026, medical graduates who passed the screening test held in January must visit the NBEMS office in person. This certificate is a very important paper because, without it, foreign-trained doctors cannot register to work in India.

According to the latest advisory, the board will continue to distribute these certificates until April 14, 2026. However, students cannot just walk into the office any day they want. Every student has been given a specific date and time on their "Entry Slip." The board has made it very clear that only the student themselves can collect the certificate. No parents, friends, or relatives are allowed to pick it up on their behalf. This is done to make sure the right person gets the document after a proper face and fingerprint check.

Important Rules for Collection at the Delhi Office

The collection process takes place at the NBEMS Office in Dwarka, New Delhi. Because there are thousands of students, the board has created a strict schedule to avoid crowding. If you miss your time slot, you might have to wait for a long time or come back on another day after getting special permission.

  • In-Person Only: You must be physically present at the office. The board will not send the certificate by post or courier to your home.
  • Entry Slip is Must: You need to download your entry slip from the official NBE portal. You must bring a printed copy of this slip to enter the building.
  • Identity Check: The officers at the center will check your fingerprints (biometrics) and your face ID. This is to make sure there is no cheating or fake identity.
  • Self-Declaration: There is a small form called a "Self-Declaration" on your entry slip. You must fill this out and sign it before you reach the counter.

If you cannot come on your scheduled date because of an emergency, you must tell the board through their Communication Web Portal. Do not travel to Delhi without a confirmed appointment, as you will not be allowed inside the office area.

List of Documents You Must Carry

To get your FMGE pass certificate, you must show many original papers. The board will look at these papers very carefully. If even one paper is missing, they will not give you the certificate. It is a good idea to keep all these papers in a file so you don't lose them while traveling.

  • Admit Card: Bring the same admit card that you carried to the exam hall in January.
  • Passport: Your original passport is required. If you have an old passport, bring that too.
  • MBBS Degree: You must show your original degree or a provisional certificate from your foreign university.
  • Eligibility Certificate: Bring the original certificate given to you by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
  • ID Cards: Along with your passport, bring another photo ID like an Aadhaar Card or Voter ID.

Conclusion: Final Steps for Your Medical Career

In conclusion, collecting the FMGE pass certificate is the final big step in your journey to becoming a doctor in India. Once you have this certificate, you can finally apply to the National Medical Commission (NMC) or your State Medical Council for a license. This license allows you to start your internship or open your own clinic.

  • Check the Deadline: The last date to collect the certificate is July 29, 2026. If you don't pick it up by then, your result might be canceled.
  • Travel Early: If you are coming from a different state, try to reach Delhi one day early so you are not late for your morning slot.
  • Check Your Hands: Make sure your hands are clean and do not have any henna or ink, as it might cause trouble during the fingerprint check.

The NBEMS advisory is meant to help you finish this work without any trouble. Stay calm, bring all your papers, and follow the rules at the Dwarka office. You have worked very hard to pass the exam, and this certificate is your reward for all that hard work.
