The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh has started accepting applications for the Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) 2026 counselling on their official website at dte.mponline.gov.in. The registration process began on June 17, 2026, and is divided into two separate tracks. The first round for candidates who qualify through the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) will end on July 5, 2026.The second round, for those who qualify through other exams, will remain open until July 31, 2026. DTE Madhya Pradesh conducts a centralized counselling process for M.Pharm admissions across approved institutions in the state. Admission is based on two parallel merit lists depending on the candidate's qualifying exam.

MP M.Pharm Counselling 2026 Key Dates

The official schedule outlines two phases for GPAT-based candidates and one overall window for those who qualify through other exams. Candidates must complete each step before the given deadlines. All deadlines end at 11:45 PM on the specified date. The edit registration period closes earlier, at 5:30 PM. Candidates should save their changes well before the deadline to prevent issues with the portal's performance.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Eligibility depends on the track candidates choose. Both tracks are conducted simultaneously but use separate merit lists.

  1. GPAT-based track: Candidates need a valid GPAT 2026 scorecard issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Merit is determined based on GPAT scores. 
  2. Qualifying exam-based track: Candidates without a GPAT score can apply using their B.Pharm qualifying degree marks. Merit is calculated based on the B.Pharm aggregate. 

A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India is required for both tracks.

How to Register for MP M.Pharm. Counselling 2026?

The registration process is fully online through the MPOnline portal. Candidates should have scanned copies of their documents and payment details ready before starting the process. 

  1. Visit the official website at dte.mponline.gov.in.
  2. Select the Master of Pharmacy (Regular) counseling link.
  3. Choose the track: either GPAT-based or qualifying exam-based.
  4. Fill in the registration form with personal and academic details.
  5. Upload the required documents as per the official guidelines.
  6. Pay the counseling fee via the available online payment methods.
  7. Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

The choice-filling process begins the day after registration. Candidates can make changes to their choices in the last two days of the schedule.

  • Visit dte.mponline.gov.in and click on the M.Pharm counselling link.
  • Decide which track you are applying for based on whether you have a valid GPAT 2026 scorecard.
  • Prepare your B.Pharm marksheet, degree certificate, GPAT scorecard, ID proof, and category certificate.
  • Complete registration by the relevant deadline: July 5 for GPAT Round 1 or July 31 for the qualifying exam-based track.
  • Carefully fill your choices and lock them within the choice-filling window.
  • Download the allotment letter during the print window and report to the allocated institute on time.
