The Directorate of Ayush, Madhya Pradesh, has officially launched the Round 1 choice filling process for MP AYUSH NEET 2024, starting today, September 27, 2024. This year, the counselling process has been enhanced with the addition of five new Ayurvedic colleges, providing 85 additional seats for aspiring students.

Key Details of MP AYUSH Round 1 Choice Filling

  • Choice Filling Period: The choice filling and locking process will remain open until September 30, 2024, at 11:59 PM. Candidates who have made it to the merit list can fill in their preferences for colleges and courses online.
  • Seat Allotment Result: The results for the seat allotment will be announced on October 4, 2024. Students will be able to check their allocation status on the official portal.

New Additions to AYUSH Colleges

This year’s counselling process is notable for the introduction of five new Ayurvedic colleges, which will significantly increase the opportunities available to students pursuing Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine (BUMS), and Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine (BHMS). The addition of these colleges aims to accommodate more students and enhance the quality of AYUSH education in Madhya Pradesh.

Importance of Timely Action

Candidates are encouraged to complete their choice filling as soon as possible rather than waiting until the deadline. This proactive approach will ensure they have a better chance of securing their preferred courses and colleges. After the seat allotment results are released, students must report to their allotted colleges between October 5 and October 8, 2024, to complete their admission formalities.

The MP AYUSH NEET counselling process is a critical pathway for students aspiring to enter the field of alternative medicine. With new colleges added and more seats available, this year's counselling offers enhanced opportunities for candidates. Students are urged to stay updated and complete their choice filling promptly to secure their admissions in the desired programs.
