The Directorate of AYUSH, Government of Madhya Pradesh, has commenced the third round of counselling for admission to Undergraduate (UG) AYUSH courses for the academic year 2025-26. This is a crucial opportunity for all eligible NEET UG 2025 qualifiers seeking admission to BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery), and BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) programs in various government and private colleges across the state. Aspirants are advised to take immediate note of the strict deadline and the subsequent schedule of events.

Key Dates and Application Details

The registration window for the MP AYUSH Counselling 2025 Round 3 began recently and will close today, October 24, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Candidates who are new to the counselling process or those who participated in earlier rounds but did not secure or join a seat can register and participate. The entire process, including registration and choice filling, is being conducted online through the official portal: ayush.mponline.gov.in.

New registrants, or those who need to update their forms, also have the facility to edit their registration details until the same deadline. A non-refundable registration fee is typically required to finalize the application.

Following the registration period, the next critical steps in the Round 3 schedule are as follows:

EventDates
Publication of Merit ListOctober 27, 2025
Choice Filling, Locking, and Editing FacilityOctober 28, 2025 to October 30, 2025
Seat Allocation ResultNovember 03, 2025
Reporting to Allotted College for AdmissionNovember 04, 2025 to November 06, 2025

Step-by-Step Process for Aspirants

1. Online Registration (Closes Today!): Candidates must first visit the official website, create a profile (if new), and complete the online registration form. This includes entering personal details, NEET UG 2025 scores, and other academic information, which must be accurate and match the original documents.

2. Document Verification: After registration, candidates are typically required to report to designated Help Centres for document verification. For this round, the scheduled dates for verification are often from October 23, 2025, to October 25, 2025. It is mandatory for candidates to get their documents verified to be included in the merit list and proceed to choice filling.

3. Merit List Publication: The Directorate of AYUSH will release the Merit List on October 27, 2025. This list will determine the counselling rank of eligible candidates. Aspirants must check this list to understand their standing before the choice-filling stage.

4. Choice Filling and Locking (Oct 28 - Oct 30): This is arguably the most crucial step. Aspirants must carefully research and select their preferred courses and colleges from the available seat matrix during the window from October 28 to October 30, 2025. It's vital to fill in as many choices as possible in descending order of preference to maximize the chance of securing a seat. Candidates must remember to lock their choices before the deadline; if they fail to lock, the last saved choices will be automatically locked.

5. Seat Allocation Result (Nov 03): The highly anticipated seat allocation result will be declared on November 03, 2025. This result will be based on the candidate's NEET rank, choices filled, and the availability of seats.

6. Reporting to College: Candidates who are allotted a seat must download their provisional allotment letter and report to the respective college between November 04, 2025, and November 06, 2025, to complete the admission formalities and secure their seat. Failure to report within this timeframe will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.

Aspirants in the Medical stream should ensure they complete all formalities on time to secure their seat in AYUSH courses. For regular updates, follow Only Education News and check the official website frequently.
