Eligible candidates can check the list of shortlisted applicants at academics.mnnit.ac.in/fresh_mba by entering their login details. The two-year full-time MBA program is conducted by the School of Management Studies at MNNIT Allahabad. Admission to this program is based on the candidate's performance in any of the following exams: CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT, or GMAT.

Selection of Candidates for Shortlisting

The list for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) was finalised based on a percentile score.
This percentile was calculated by giving weightage to the candidate's scores in the entrance exam, such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT, or GMAT. The MBA Admission Committee at MNNIT may also set a minimum percentile score for each category, which determines who gets called for GDPI.

To be eligible for an MBA course at MNNIT, candidates must have completed a three-year bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or a CPI of 6.5. However, for SC, ST, and Divyang candidates, the minimum marks required are reduced to 55%. It is important to note that meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee that a candidate will be selected for the next stage of the process. 

How Candidates Were Shortlisted 

The GDPI shortlist was made based on the weighted percentile scores of candidates from entrance exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT, or GMAT. There might also be a minimum percentile cut-off for each category of candidates who are invited for the final selection process.

Final selection is based on a composite score that considers four main factors, as stated in the official notice:

•  Score in the qualifying entrance exam
• Academic background
• Work experience
• Performance in Group Discussion, Extempore, and Personal Interview

Shortlisted candidates must go to the School of Management Studies, MNNIT Allahabad, on the scheduled interview day with all original documents, mark sheets, a valid entrance exam scorecard, and a printed copy of the application acknowledgement. To be eligible for the MBA program, candidates must have a three-year bachelor’s degree in any subject with a minimum of 60% marks or a CPI of 6.5. For SC, ST, and Divyang candidates, this requirement is relaxed to 55% aggregate or a CPI of 6.0. It is important to note that meeting these eligibility criteria does not guarantee being shortlisted for the next stage. 

MBA Programme Structure and Seats

The MBA programme at MNNIT Allahabad is a two-year full-time course divided into four semesters. It offers five specialisation options: finance, marketing, human resource management, international business, and systems management. The total number of seats available for the full-time MBA programme is 62. The overall cost of the programme is Rs 1.77 lakh, making it one of the more affordable MBA programmes provided by an Institute of National Importance. The application fee was Rs 1,200 for applicants from the general category and Rs 600 for those belonging to SC, ST, or PwD categories.

 Action Plan for Shortlisted Candidates

• The shortlisted candidates should first log in to the MNNIT MBA Admission Portal using their application ID and password to check if they have been shortlisted.
• Once the GDPI call letter is available on the dashboard, they should download it and keep a printed copy for the GDPI process.
• They need to make sure all required documents are ready, including originals and attested copies of Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, graduation mark sheets, the entrance exam scorecard, the category certificate (if applicable), and the work experience certificate.
• Candidates are required to go to the School of Management Studies, MNNIT Allahabad, on the assigned date for their GDPI process.
• The final list of selected candidates is expected to be published on the academic portal on June 12, 2026, so candidates should regularly check the portal for updates.
