MHT CET 2026 City Intimation Slip Expected Soon Before Admit Card Release

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is expected to release the MHT CET 2026 city intimation slip shortly. This document serves as a preliminary notification for candidates appearing in the upcoming entrance examinations. Registered students will be able to access their allotted exam city details through the official portal at cetcell.mahacet.org.

The city intimation slip is a provisional document released before the final hall ticket. Its primary purpose is to inform candidates about the city where their examination center will be located. This allows students to make necessary travel and accommodation arrangements well in advance. It is important to note that the city slip does not contain the specific name or address of the exam center.

The MHT CET 2026 examination is scheduled to be held in two sessions. The first session for the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) group will take place from April 11 to April 20, 2026. For the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) group, the exams are scheduled between April 21 and April 26, 2026. A second session for both groups is also planned for May 2026.

Candidates can download the city slip by logging into the candidate portal using their registered email ID and password. Once the slip is available, a direct link will be activated on the homepage of the CET Cell website. Students should verify their personal details on the slip and keep a digital copy for reference.

The final MHT CET 2026 admit card will be issued separately from the city intimation slip. According to the standard procedure of the CET Cell, the hall ticket is typically released three to four days before the actual exam date. The admit card will contain essential information, including the exact venue address, shift timings, and exam day instructions.

The introduction of the city intimation slip is a measure to assist the large number of applicants this year. Over 11 lakh students have registered for the MHT CET 2026. Since the exam centers are located only within the state of Maharashtra, the early city notification helps outstation candidates plan their logistics effectively.

conclusion

The release of the MHT CET 2026 city intimation slip is a key step in the examination process. Candidates should regularly monitor the official website for the download link. While the city slip provides the location for travel planning, the final admit card remains the mandatory document for entry into the examination hall.
