The MH Nursing CET 2026 registration deadline is March 25. Candidates must complete the online application on the official website to appear for the May entrance exam.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is preparing to close the online application portal for the MH Nursing CET 2026. According to the latest official notification, the registration window will officially end tomorrow, March 25, 2026. This entrance test is mandatory for students who want to join nursing courses like B.Sc Nursing, ANM, and GNM in colleges across the state. Candidates have very little time left to complete their forms and pay the fees through the official website.

Extension of Application Window

The authorities decided to extend the registration dates after many students asked for more time. Initially, the process was scheduled to end earlier, but a re-extension was granted to help students who faced technical issues or missed the first deadline. Now, the portal is in its final 24 hours of operation for the 2026-27 academic session. It is important to note that no further extensions are expected after tomorrow.

Important points regarding the final schedule:

  • The last date for online registration is March 25, 2026.
  • Candidates must complete their fee payment by the same deadline to be considered.
  • The registration link will be disabled precisely at the end of the day tomorrow.
  • Registered candidates can then wait for the admit card release in April.

Eligibility and Exam Details

To apply for the MH Nursing CET 2026, students must meet specific rules. They need to have passed their Class 12 exams with Science subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. A minimum of 45% marks is required for students in the general category. For those in reserved categories, the requirement is 40%. All applicants must be Indian citizens and should have a domicile certificate from Maharashtra to claim state quota seats.

The entrance exam is not far away. It is scheduled to be held on May 6 and May 7, 2026. This will be a computer-based test conducted at various centers. The test will have 100 multiple-choice questions. These questions will cover Science subjects, English, and Nursing Aptitude. There is no negative marking, which is a relief for many students.

Step-by-Step Registration Process

The application process must be done entirely online. Students first need to create a profile on the CET Cell portal. After that, they must fill in their personal details and educational history. One important new rule for this year is the generation of an APAAR ID through DigiLocker. This ID is now mandatory for the admission process in Maharashtra.

The final step is the payment of the application fee. For general category students, the fee is 1,000. For reserved categories like SC, ST, and OBC, the fee is 800. After the payment is successful, students should download and print the confirmation page. This page is very important for future use during the counseling process.

Conclusion

The MH Nursing CET 2026 is a vital gateway for students entering the healthcare field. As the deadline of March 25 is just one day away, candidates should act quickly. Ensuring that all documents are uploaded correctly and the fee is paid is essential. Since the exam is only a few weeks away in May, students should focus on their revision after completing the registration.
