MH CET Law: Final Merit List for 3-Year LLB Round 1 to be Released Today

he State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, will publish the Final Merit List for the first round of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the 3-Year LLB course today, August 2, 2025. The merit list is expected to be released after 5:00 PM on the official counselling portal, llb3cap25.mahacet.org.

This final list is a critical step in the admission process as it incorporates all the grievances and corrections submitted by candidates against the provisional alphabetical list, which was released on July 28. It will serve as the conclusive ranking based on which seats will be allocated in the upcoming counselling rounds.

What Happens After the Final Merit List is Released:

Aspirants who find their names on the final merit list are eligible to proceed to the next stage of the admission process. The immediate next step is the most crucial for seat allocation:

• College Option Form Filling: The window for filling out and submitting the college option form for both Round 1 and Round 2 will open tomorrow, August 3, 2025, and will remain open until August 5, 2025.
• Seat Allotment: The provisional seat allotment for CAP Round 1 will be published on August 8, 2025.
• Reporting to College: Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 1 will have to report to their respective colleges between August 11 and August 13, 2025, to confirm their admission.
