The Maharashtra State CET Cell opened registration for the MH CET Law 3-Year LLB 2026 Institutional Level Round — commonly referred to as Round 4 — on September 27, 2026, with the window to submit college choices open through September 29. Candidates can register, edit existing applications, and submit fresh college preferences through the official 3-Year LLB CAP portal at cetcell.mahacet.org until the same day.

This is the final admission window in this year's cycle, opened specifically for seats that remained vacant after the three regular CAP rounds. Round 3 seat allocation had already taken place on September 17, with reporting to colleges running through September 21 — so this round exists purely to fill what's left over.

Who Can Apply

Any candidate who meets MH CET Law 3-Year LLB eligibility and the conditions specified in the CET Cell's counselling notice can participate — including those who already took part in earlier CAP rounds. However, there's an important catch: choices submitted during Round 3 or any earlier round do not carry forward automatically. Everyone applying to this round, regardless of prior participation, must submit entirely fresh college preferences.

Candidates who already have an admission from an earlier round should check their status carefully before applying again, since this round works independently of earlier allotments.

What Happens Next

Once the registration and option-filling window closes on September 29, participating colleges will generate the institute-level merit list on September 30, 2026. This list will be published on the college notice board, the college website, and the CAP portal itself. Candidates who find their names on the merit list must report to their allotted institute between October 1 and 4, 2026, to complete document verification and finish remaining admission formalities.
