The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is moving into the final stages of preparation for the MH CET Law 2026. As of March 27, 2026, the 3-year LLB aspirants are looking forward to the release of their hall tickets. This follows the recent issuance of the exam city intimation slip, which provided candidates with early information regarding their testing locations. The admit card is a vital document that serves as the official entry permit for the examination hall.

The MH CET Law 3-year LLB entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 1 and April 2, 2026. This computer-based test will be held across multiple sessions in various cities throughout Maharashtra. Historically, the State CET Cell releases the hall tickets approximately four to five days prior to the examination. Given the current timeline, the download link is expected to be activated on the official portal at any moment during the final weekend of March.

Distinguishing City Intimation and Admit Card

Candidates must understand the functional difference between the city intimation slip and the final admit card. The city intimation slip is a preliminary notification that only discloses the city where the exam will be held. It is designed to help outstation students arrange their travel and accommodation. It does not contain the specific name of the test center or the seat number. The admit card, however, is the comprehensive document that includes the exact venue address, the reporting time, and the gate closing time.

For candidates applying for the 5-year LLB programme, the timeline is slightly different. The application window for the 5-year integrated course was recently extended and will remain open until March 31, 2026. Since their entrance test is scheduled for May 8, 2026, their admit cards are not expected until the first week of May.

Download Process and Verification

To access the admit card, candidates must visit the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. They will need to log in to the candidate portal using their registration number and date of birth or password. Once the document is visible on the screen, students should carefully verify several key details:

  • Full name and spelling of the candidate.
  • The specific exam date and shift assigned (Morning or Afternoon).
  • The exact address of the allocated testing center.
  • Clarity of the uploaded photograph and signature.

If a candidate notices any factual error or technical glitch on the admit card, they must contact the CET Cell helpdesk immediately. Presenting a hall ticket with mismatched information may lead to disqualification at the center.

Examination Day Guidelines

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry a clearly printed color copy of the admit card. Digital copies or soft copies stored on mobile devices will not be entertained by the invigilators. Along with the hall ticket, a valid government-issued photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or PAN Card is mandatory for verification.

The MH CET Law 2026 will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions covering Legal Aptitude, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, and English. There is no negative marking in the 3-year LLB entrance test. Candidates are advised to reach the venue at least one hour before the reporting time to complete the biometric registration and security checks smoothly.

Conclusion

The release of the MH CET Law 2026 admit card is the final administrative step before the 3-year LLB entrance exam begins on April 1. Aspirants should use the remaining days to finalize their revision while staying updated with the official portal for the download link. Ensuring that all documents are ready and the exam center location is verified will help in a stress-free examination experience.
