A crucial milestone in the admission process for the three-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program in Maharashtra has been reached today. The Maharashtra State CET Cell has officially released the Final Merit List for MH CET 3-Year LLB CAP (Centralized Admission Process) Round 1 on its official website, cetcell.mahacet.org, after 5:00 PM.

This much-awaited list follows the alphabetical list displayed on July 28, 2025, and the grievance redressal period that concluded yesterday. Candidates who had successfully registered and submitted their applications for MH CET 3-Year LLB admissions can now check their final merit ranks and other pertinent details, which will determine their eligibility for the upcoming seat allotment rounds.

Steps After Merit List Release:

The release of the final merit list is an essential step, but it is not the final one for securing admission. Aspirants must now proceed with the following critical stages as per the revised counselling schedule:

  1. Check Final Merit Rank: Candidates are advised to download the PDF of the final merit list from the official portal and locate their rank, percentile score, category, and other details using their application ID. This list is definitive, and no further objections will be entertained.
  2. College Option Form Filling (Mandatory): Starting tomorrow, August 3, 2025, and continuing until August 5, 2025, candidates must fill and lock their college preferences for CAP Round 1 and Round 2. This step is paramount as seat allotment will be based on these choices, the candidate's merit rank, and the seat matrix. It is highly recommended to research colleges thoroughly and prioritize choices wisely.
  3. Provisional Seat Allotment for Round 1: The results of the provisional seat allotment for Round 1 are scheduled to be published on August 8, 2025, after 5:00 PM.
  4. Reporting to Allotted Colleges: Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 1 and wish to accept it must report to their respective allotted colleges for document verification and admission confirmation between August 11 and August 13, 2025.

How to Check the Final Merit List:

To access the MH CET 3-Year LLB Final Merit List for Round 1, candidates should:

  • Visit the official website of the Maharashtra State CET Cell: cetcell.mahacet.org or llb3cap25.mahacet.org.
  • Navigate to the "Admission A.Y 2025-26" tab and then select "LLB. 3-Years".
  • Look for the link pertaining to the "Final Merit List for Round 1".
  • Download the PDF document and search for their details using their application ID or name.

Candidates are urged to adhere strictly to the published schedule and regularly visit the official MH CET Cell website for any further updates or announcements regarding the subsequent CAP rounds.
