The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has started the second round of counselling for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2026 for B.Tech. candidates on their official website at counselling.manipal.edu.

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has started the second round of counselling for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2026 for B.Tech. candidates on their official website at counselling.manipal.edu. The second phase of counselling began on June 17, 2026, from 2:30 PM onwards. Candidates have until June 18, 2026, to select their preferred campus and course. The results of the seat allotment in Round 2 will be available on June 20, 2026, through the same official portal. Only those who paid the counselling fee in Round 1 and met the cut-off are eligible. Also, fresh candidates who have a valid MET 2026 rank can join this round.

Who can join MET 2026 Round 2?

Candidates with a valid MET 2026 rank card are eligible. Those who applied in Round 1 but didn’t get a seat will automatically qualify.Candidates who were allotted seats and chose the upgrade option will also be considered. Fresh candidates who haven’t registered earlier can join Round 2. They need to pay the counselling fee of Rs 10,000 on the portal.This fee is non-refundable and required once for the full counselling process.

How to complete the MET 2026 Round 2 registration and choice filling?

Candidates should follow the official process on the MAHE counselling portal. Log in using your application number, OTBS password, and captcha code.If you haven't paid the counselling fee in Round 1, do so now.Select your preferred campus and BTech programme in order of priority.Review your choices on the preview screen and lock them before the June 18, 2026 deadline.

Which campuses are available under MET counselling?

MAHE offers BTech admissions through MET counselling at its main campuses. Candidates can choose programmes from Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) Manipal and MIT Bengaluru. The Jaipur campus also offers seats through this common process. Available course choices include computer science, information technology, mechanical, electronics, and other core BTech branches. Each campus has its own seat matrix and cut-off for each programme.

What happens after Round 2 seat allotment?

The seat allotment result for Round 2 will be on the candidate dashboard on June 20, 2026. Allotted candidates must accept the seat and pay the part admission fee within the given window.They must also upload required documents for online verification. If a candidate is not satisfied with their allotted seat, they can upgrade in later rounds. Those who don’t accept the offer will lose their seat and the counselling fee.
