MDI states that the WAT-GD-PI process will be conducted between February and April 2027. The institute lists Bengaluru, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Mumbai as centres; locations other than Gurugram are currently described as tentative.
MDI Gurgaon PGDM 2027-29 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both Class 10 and Class 12. They also need a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognised university or institution.
The degree-duration requirement varies by programme:
- PGDM: Minimum three-year bachelor's degree
- PGDM-HRM: Minimum three-year bachelor's degree

For candidates who have not completed graduation, the graduation component is based on the second year/sixth term, according to MDI's published criteria.

CAT 2026 and GMAT Requirements for MDI Admission
CAT 2026 is the required entrance test for Indian candidates applying to MDI's listed PGDM programmes. MDI states that the CAT 2026 exam is scheduled for November 29, 2026. There is a programme-specific GMAT provision. Candidates applying exclusively to PGDM-IB can use a GMAT score from a test taken between January 1 and November 28, 2026, provided the test was taken at a GMAT test centre and not online.
