The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to release the highly anticipated NEET PG 2025 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result on Friday, November 22, 2025. This result will determine the provisional allocation of MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats under the 50% All India Quota (AIQ), as well as 100% seats in Central Universities and Deemed Institutions.

Aspirants who participated in the choice filling and locking process, which concludes today at 12:00 Noon, must prepare to check their results online. The allotment results will be released as both a downloadable PDF list and via the individual candidate login on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in.

Accessing and Downloading Your Allotment

The MCC will release the results in two primary formats:

PDF Merit List: A consolidated list of all provisionally allotted candidates, including their All India Rank (AIR), allotted institute, course, and category, will be uploaded as a PDF document on the home page of mcc.nic.in.

Individual Allotment Letter: Candidates must log in to their portal to download their personalized Provisional Allotment Letter. This letter is essential as it contains the specific details of the allotted seat and is a mandatory document for the college reporting process.

Steps to Check the Result (Personal Login)

  1. Visit the official MCC website: mcc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the "PG Medical Counselling" tab.
  3. Look for the link labeled "Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2025" (to be activated on Nov 22).
  4. Log in using your NEET PG Roll Number, Password, and Security Pin.
  5. Your individual result and Provisional Allotment Letter will be displayed. Download and print multiple copies of the letter.

Key Post-Allotment Procedures

Securing a seat is only the first step. Candidates must understand the subsequent mandatory actions as per the revised schedule:

Reporting/JoiningNovember 23 to December 1, 2025Physical reporting to the allotted college.

Decision Making & Reporting

Upon viewing the result, candidates have two primary choices:

  • Accept the Allotment and Join: If satisfied with the allotted seat, the candidate must select the 'Accept and Proceed for Admission' option, download the allotment letter, and physically report to the designated college between November 23 and December 1, 2025. This involves document verification and fee payment.
  • Accept and Opt for Upgradation: If the candidate accepts the seat but wishes to participate in Round 2 for a better preference, they must still report to the allotted college and confirm their admission while submitting a willingness for upgradation.
  • Reject and Avail Free Exit: Candidates who are allotted a seat but do not wish to join, or who fail to report, are eligible for a 'Free Exit' in Round 1, meaning they can participate in Round 2 with fresh registration (if applicable) and without forfeiture of their security deposit.

Documents Required for Reporting

Candidates must prepare all original documents, including the NEET PG Scorecard, MBBS Certificate, Internship Completion Certificate, Provisional/Permanent Registration Certificate, Category/PwD Certificate (if applicable), and the downloaded MCC Allotment Letter. Failure to present the original documents during the reporting period from November 23 to December 1 will result in the immediate cancellation of the seat.

Aspirants are advised to meticulously review all instructions and prepare for the upcoming admission formalities. For regular updates on admission procedures and official notices, follow Only Education News.
