MCC to Announce NEET UG 2025 Round 3 Seat Allotment Results TODAY

In a highly anticipated development for lakhs of medical aspirants, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is scheduled to release the Round 3 seat allotment results for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 counselling today, October 11, 2025. This third round is a critical juncture in the admission process for seats under the All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed/Central Universities, AIIMS, and JIPMER.

The release of the results today follows a recent revision to the counselling schedule. Initially slated for an earlier date, the timeline was extended primarily due to the late addition of several new MBBS seats to the Round 3 matrix and the subsequent extension of the choice filling and locking window to allow candidates to include these vacancies in their preferences.

Key Dates for Aspirants

The updated schedule confirms the critical remaining steps for candidates who participated in Round 3:

Successful candidates will have from October 13 to October 21 to report to their allotted medical, dental, or nursing colleges to complete the final admission formalities.

Steps to Check the Allotment Result

Medical aspirants who submitted their choices must follow these steps to check their Round 3 allotment result immediately upon release:

1. Visit the official website of the MCC.
2. Locate and click on the NEET UG Round 3 seat allotment result link on the homepage.
3. A new login page will open, requiring candidates to enter their credentials (roll number, password, etc.).
4. Submit the details, and the provisional seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen.
5. Check the allotted college and course details carefully, download the allotment letter, and save a hard copy for the reporting process.

Significance of Round 3

Round 3 is the penultimate round of the main counselling process before the final Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates who secure a seat in this round and wish to join are generally not permitted to resign or participate in subsequent rounds, consolidating the admissions. Those who do not secure a seat or choose not to join will retain eligibility to participate in the upcoming Stray Vacancy Round, scheduled to commence with registration on October 24, 2025.

All aspirants are urged to download their result letters promptly today and prepare all necessary documentation for the physical reporting process, which begins on Monday, October 13.
