Candidates fill fresh Round 1 preferences on 15 and 16 October 2026, with the window closing at 11:59 PM on 16 October 2026. The Round 1 selection list follows on 17 October 2026.

Important: CAP Round 3 Choices Are Invalid
Choices filled during CAP Round 3 do not carry over. Candidates must fill fresh preferences for the stray round.
Candidates should list only the colleges they are willing to join. A stray-round allotment must be accepted, so adding a college you would not join can leave you with a seat you did not want.
What Candidates Should Do Now
- Wait for the seat matrix on 14 October 2026 and note the available seats.
- Fill fresh Round 1 preferences on 15-16 October 2026, before 11:59 PM on 16 October.
- Choose only colleges you will join.
- Check the selection list on 17 October 2026.
