Maharashtra Group C CAP Schedule Revised: Check New Dates for BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, BP&O, BNYS

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the revised schedule for CAP Round 1 and CAP Round 2 of NEET UG 2026 Group C courses, covering BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, BP&O and BNYS for the 2026–27 academic year. The revised schedule was issued through Notice No. 22 dated October 7, 2026 after the CAP Round 1 process was postponed because several colleges had not received affiliation. The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik has now approved additional colleges for these Group C courses, following which the State CET Cell has announced the revised CAP schedule.

Maharashtra Group C CAP Round 1 Schedule 2026

According to the revised schedule, the CAP Round 1 seat matrix will be published on October 8, 2026. Candidates who had already filled their preferences will be allowed to edit their choices and add newly affiliated colleges during the revised choice-filling window.

Why Was the Maharashtra Group C CAP Schedule Revised?

The Group C CAP Round 1 process was originally scheduled for September 30, 2026. However, several colleges, including government colleges, could not be included in the choice-filling process because they had not received affiliation. The State CET Cell also received communication from MUHS, Nashik to halt the process while affiliation for additional colleges was being completed. MUHS has now granted affiliation to several additional colleges offering Group C courses. As a result, the State CET Cell has issued the revised schedule for CAP Round 1 and CAP Round 2.

Maharashtra Group C CAP Round 2 Schedule 2026

The CAP Round 2 process will begin after the completion of CAP Round 1. The CAP Round 2 seat matrix will be published on October 17, 2026. Candidates who want to participate in Round 2 will then have to fill their preferences again.

The State CET Cell has clarified that choices filled during CAP Round 1 will become null and void for CAP Round 2. Candidates who want to participate in CAP 2 must therefore submit fresh choices during the Round 2 choice-filling window.

Do CAP Round 1 Choices Carry Forward to CAP Round 2?

No. CAP Round 1 choices will not carry forward to CAP Round 2. Candidates participating in CAP Round 2 must fill a new set of college and course preferences between October 18 and October 20, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.

What Should Candidates Do Now?

Candidates should:

1. Check the revised seat matrix published on October 8.
2. Review newly affiliated colleges.
3. Edit their existing preferences if required.
4. Add newly listed colleges where appropriate.
5. Submit choices before October 11 at 11:59 PM.
6. Check the CAP Round 1 result on October 12.

If allotted a seat, report to the allotted college with the required original documents and requisite fee. Physical joining for CAP Round 1 is scheduled from October 13 to October 16, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.

Documents and Fee for Physical Joining

The official schedule states that candidates reporting to an allotted college must carry all original documents and the requisite fees by Demand Draft (DD). For CAP Round 2, the notice also states that payment by cheque is permitted on bank holidays, but the cheque must be replaced by a DD on the next working day. Failure to submit the DD on the next working day may result in cancellation of admission.
