The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has released the provisional seat allotment for the Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test (MAH MCA CET) 2026 under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) Round 1. The result is available on the official website at mca2026.mahacet.org.in. Candidates who have been allotted a seat must complete the seat acceptance and reporting process by August 6, 2026. Candidates who registered for CAP counselling can now log in using their application number. The allotment status shows the college and seat assigned based on merit and the preferences chosen during the option entry.

Key Details of the CAP Round 1 Allotment

Round 1 seats have been allotted on the basis of the MAH MCA CET 2026 merit list, category, and college preferences. Every allotted candidate must respond within the deadline. Failure to act will forfeit the allotted seat.

Seat Acceptance Options for Allotted Candidates

Every candidate who has been allotted a seat must select one of the three options on the portal.

This decision determines whether they continue with the process for future rounds.

• Freeze: Accept the assigned seat and exit the CAP process for further rounds.
• Float: Keep the current seat but stay in the process to explore better options.
• Slide: Accept the current seat and apply for a higher preference within the same college.
• Not Accept: Reject the seat and lose the opportunity for admission.
