The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), under the Government of Maharashtra, has extended the deadline for registration in the Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test (MAH MBA CET) Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2026. The new last date to apply is now July 16, 2026, up to 5 PM. Candidates can complete the registration process on the official website at mba2026.mahacet.org.in. This extension applies to both online registration and uploading of documents for MBA and MMS admissions. The original deadline was July 12, 2026, at 5 PM. It is estimated that around 1.4 lakh students will apply in this round. The CAP process includes seats at government, government-aided, and private unaided institutes across Maharashtra. Only candidates who have qualified in MAH MBA CET 2026 or CMAT 2026 are allowed to register through CAP. Candidates not part of CAP must apply directly to the institutes under the institute-level quota.

How to Register for MAH MBA CET CAP 2026

The entire registration and document upload process is done on the CAP portal. Candidates should have scanned copies of their documents ready before beginning.

Steps to follow:

  • Open the website mba2026.mahacet.org.in in your browser.
  • Click on the new candidate registration link on the homepage.
  • Enter your MAH MBA CET 2026 application number, roll number, and date of birth.
  • Fill in the CAP application form with your personal, academic, and category details.
  • Upload the required scanned documents as per the specified format.
  • Pay the non-refundable registration fee using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
  • Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Documents Required for CAP Registration:

All documents must be in the format and size set by the CET Cell. Missing or incorrect uploads may delay verification. Required documents include:

  1. MAH MBA CET 2026 or CMAT 2026 scorecard.
  2. Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets.
  3. Graduation mark sheets and passing certificate.
  4. Domicile certificate for Maharashtra state candidates.
  5. Caste certificate, non-creamy layer, and validity certificate, if applicable.
  6. PwD, EWS, defence, or minority certificates, if applicable.
  7. Aadhaar card and a recent passport-sized photograph with signature.

Who Is Eligible for the MAH MBA CET CAP Round?

The CAP round is open to Maharashtra state candidates, all-India candidates, J&K migrants, and NRI or foreign national categories. Candidates must hold a valid MAH MBA CET 2026 or CMAT 2026 score.They must also meet the graduation cut-off set by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.
