Mandatory Documents for the Exam Hall

Ensure you have the following items ready before leaving for the center:

  1. Printed Admit Card: Downloaded from cetcell.mahacet.org. Ensure your photo is clear.
  2. Valid Photo ID (Original): Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.
    • Note: The name on the ID must exactly match the name on the Admit Card.
  3. Photograph: Carry one passport-size photograph (same as the one uploaded in the application) to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
  4. For Married Female Candidates: If your surname has changed, you must carry the original marriage certificate, gazette notification, or an affidavit.

Exam Day Guidelines

  • Rough Work: Sheets will be provided at the center. You must write your name and roll number on the sheet and return it before leaving.
  • Prohibited Items: Do not carry mobile phones, calculators, digital watches, or any jewelry. Only a simple transparent ballpoint pen is allowed.
  • Biometrics: Expect a multi-stage verification process including fingerprint and iris scans.
  • Navigation: There are no sectional time limits, meaning you can switch between sections freely. Use this to your advantage by tackling your strongest sections first.

What’s Next?

  • Session 2 Exam: For those registered for the second attempt, the exam is scheduled for May 9, 2026. The best of the two scores will be considered for admission.
  • Provisional Answer Key: Expected to be released around May 3, 2026, for students to raise objections.
