MAH MBA CET 2026 Extended Registration Window Closing on Feb 25
The State CET Cell has extended the application deadline for the MAH MBA CET 2026 exam to give students more time. Candidates must complete their online registration by February 25, 2026, to be eligible for the entrance test held in April and May.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has shared an important update for all management aspirants. The last date to apply for the MAH MBA CET 2026 has been extended once again. Students who have not yet filled out their forms now have until February 25, 2026, to complete the process. This is a final opportunity for those who missed the previous deadlines due to technical issues or pending documents.
According to the official notification on the State CET Cell website, this extension applies to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Management Studies (MMS) courses. The authorities decided to extend the window to help students who were facing trouble with new requirements. One such requirement is generating an APAAR ID through the DigiLocker platform, which is now mandatory for the registration process.
How to Apply Before the Deadline
To register for the MAH MBA CET 2026, candidates must visit the official MAHACET portal. The process is entirely online. First, students need to click on "New Registration" and provide basic details like their name, mobile number, and email address. After getting a login ID and password, they must fill in their academic scores from the 10th grade up to graduation.
It is important to note that the registration fee must be paid before the window closes. For general category candidates, the fee is ₹1,200. For candidates from reserved categories in Maharashtra, the fee is ₹1,000. All payments must be made using online methods like credit cards, debit cards, or net banking. Candidates are checking the portal regularly as heavy website traffic can sometimes cause payment delays on the final day.
| Category | Registration Fee |
| General (Maharashtra & OMS) | ₹1,200 |
| Reserved (SC/ST/OBC - Maharashtra only) | ₹1,000 |
| PwD Candidates (Maharashtra only) | ₹1,000 |
Exam Schedule and Pattern
The entrance exam is scheduled to take place in two separate attempts this year. The first attempt will be held on April 6, 7, and 8, 2026. The second attempt is planned for May 9, 2026. This system allows students to use their best score for admission into top colleges like JBIMS, SIMSREE, and PUMBA.
The entrance exam will be a computer-based test (CBT) with 200 multiple-choice questions. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. The paper tests four main areas: Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Ability. The exam is 150 minutes long, so candidates need to manage their time carefully.
