The third and final round of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for MAH MBA CET 2025 has brought positive news for many management aspirants. The latest provisional seat allotment list, released on August 22, 2025, shows a minor but significant drop in cutoffs for several top colleges, including the highly sought-after Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) and Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE).

For MAH MBA CET aspirants who were waiting for a chance to secure a seat in a prestigious institute, this drop in cutoffs is a welcome development. The cutoff for JBIMS, a dream college for many, saw a minor drop to 99.98 percentile in this round. Similar reductions were noted for other top institutions such as COEP, Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management, and Rizvi Institute of Management.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in CAP Round 3 must act swiftly to confirm their admission. The window for seat acceptance and reporting to the respective colleges is from August 22 to August 25, 2025. It is critical for students to complete this process by the deadline to secure their spot.

For those who have not been allotted a seat in their preferred college, there is still a glimmer of hope. The State CET Cell will release the list of vacant seats for an additional CAP Round 4 on August 26, 2025. This will be followed by the option form submission for the next round from August 28 to August 30, 2025, with the provisional allotment result for this round expected on September 1, 2025.
