The MAH MBA/MMS CAP Round 4 counselling 2026 is set to begin shortly, giving candidates one final opportunity to secure admission to participating MBA and MMS colleges in Maharashtra. The provisional vacant seat list for CAP Round 4 will be released on August 28, 2026, after which eligible candidates can submit and confirm their option forms through the CAP portal.
According to the latest counselling schedule, candidates can fill and confirm their CAP Round 4 option form from August 29 to August 31, 2026. The MAH MBA CAP Round 4 seat allotment result will be announced on September 3, 2026.
The fourth round is particularly important for candidates who are still waiting for a preferred college or have participated in earlier rounds with the expectation of betterment.
MAH MBA CAP Round 4 2026: Important Dates
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has scheduled the final CAP round for MBA/MMS admissions as follows:
| Event | Date |
|---|---|
| Provisional vacant seats for Round 4 | August 28, 2026 |
| Option form submission and confirmation | August 29–31, 2026 |
| Round 4 provisional seat allotment | September 3, 2026 |
| Seat acceptance | September 4–7, 2026 |
| Reporting to allotted institute | September 4–7, 2026 |
Candidates should keep checking their CAP login for the vacant seat matrix and subsequent allotment updates.
Who Can Participate in MAH MBA CAP Round 4?
Candidates who have not received a seat in their preferred MBA/MMS college in the previous rounds can participate in Round 4, provided they remain eligible under the CAP rules.
Candidates who have received a seat but opted for betterment should also pay close attention to the Round 4 option-form window. The choices submitted during this stage will determine their consideration for the remaining seats.
The vacant seat list is important because Round 4 allotments will be made against seats remaining available after the earlier CAP rounds. Candidates should therefore review the vacant seat matrix carefully before confirming their preferences.
What Happens After Round 4 Seat Allotment?
The MAH MBA CAP Round 4 allotment result will be declared on September 3. Candidates who receive a seat for the first time will need to verify the allotment through their login and complete the required seat acceptance process.
Candidates who receive a betterment or retain their earlier seat in Round 4 will have their allotment treated as final. They must then report to the allotted institute within the prescribed deadline, submit the required documents and complete the admission fee payment.
The Round 4 allotment is the final CAP-round opportunity for candidates participating in this counselling process. However, institute-level admissions and admissions against vacancies after CAP may continue separately as per the CET Cell schedule. The overall admission cut-off for the academic year is September 15, 2026.
MAH MBA CAP 2026: What Candidates Should Do Now
Candidates who are still seeking admission should not wait until the last day to make their choices. Once the vacant seat list is released on August 28, they should check the available seats, review their preferred colleges and submit the option form within the August 29–31 window.
Candidates should also regularly check the official MAH CET/CET Cell admission portal for updates, as seat availability and admission instructions may change during the final counselling stage. The Maharashtra State CET Cell lists MBA/MMS under its Centralized Admission Process for the 2026–27 academic year.
With Round 4 being the final CAP round, candidates who are still without their preferred MBA/MMS seat should make the most of this last opportunity.
