The CAP process is responsible for admissions to the four-year Bachelor of Design programme for the 2026-27 academic year in Maharashtra. Document verification will happen at the same time as the registration and will end on July 19, 2026.

Who is Eligible for MAH BDes CAP 2026?
The CET Cell has opened registration for the following categories in the 2026-27 CAP round:
- Maharashtra State candidates
- All India candidates
- Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory residents
- Ladakh Union Territory residents
- Migrant candidates
Applicants need to have a valid MAH BDes CET 2026 score. The entrance test was previously conducted by the CET Cell this year for admission to a design course.
Two Modes of Document Verification
The CET Cell has introduced two options for document verification in the CAP 2026 process. Candidates can choose the one that is most suitable for them while filling out the form.
E-Scrutiny Mode
Under this mode, candidates upload scanned copies of their documents through the portal. Officials verify the documents online without requiring a visit to a center. This option is ideal for those who live outside Maharashtra or in remote areas.
Physical Scrutiny Mode
