The students who applied for CAP Round 3 can check the allotment status on the official website, bdesign2026.mahacet.org. The self-verification, acceptance of the allotted seat, and institute reporting process have commenced. The candidates who are allotted seats under CAP Round 3 should complete all the requisite procedures within the due date. If the candidates miss any of the below-mentioned tasks, their allotment will be canceled automatically.

How to Check the MAH BDes CET CAP 2026 Round 3 Allotment Status?
The students who are provisionally allotted seats can check their allotment status by following the below-mentioned steps.
- Visit the official website of Maharashtra BDes CET at bdesign2026.mahacet.org
- Find the ‘CAP Round 3 allotment status’ link on the homepage and click on it.
- Enter the application number and password to access the allotment status.
- View and download the allotment letter that displays the name of the institute, course, and type of seat.
The candidates can also view the institute-wise allotment list that the CET Cell has released on its portal.
How to Accept the Allotted Seat?
The candidates need to accept the allotted seat to confirm admission under CAP Round 3. It is mandatory for the students to complete this step by 3:00 PM on August 28, 2026.
- Log in to the candidate portal by entering the required credentials.
- Self-verify the allotment details shown on the screen.
- Choose the Freeze or Not Freeze/Betterment option.
- Pay the seat acceptance fee via the online portal and save the receipt for the institute reporting procedure.
Freeze or Not Freeze/Betterment Option
If the students are satisfied with the allotment, they should select the ‘Freeze’ option. If the applicants wish to seek a better seat, they should select the ‘Not Freeze or Betterment’ option. As per the notice issued by CET Cell, students who have been allotted seats from their first six choices will be automatically frozen. These students will not be able to participate in future rounds.
How to Report to the Allotted Institute?
After completing the seat acceptance step, the candidates will be required to report to the respective institutes by 5:00 PM on August 28, 2026. The institutes will verify the relevant documents and update the admission confirmation in the system. The students should carry the below-mentioned documents in original along with two sets of self-attested copies.

- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
