The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 4 option form filling window will close today, September 5, 2026. Eligible candidates must submit or edit their college and course preferences through the official portal at bca2026.mahacet.org by the end of the day. The provisional fourth seat allotment result is scheduled to be released on September 7, 2026. MAH BCA CET is the state-level entrance process for admission to Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programmes offered by participating colleges across Maharashtra. CAP Round 4 will be conducted for seats remaining vacant after the earlier counselling rounds.

MAH BCA CET 2026 CAP Round 4 Key Dates

Candidates should note that the centralised CAP Round 4 option form process is different from the institute-level admission process. CAP allotment is based on merit and the preferences submitted by candidates, while institute-level admissions depend on vacancies available at individual colleges.

What Happens After the Option Form Window Closes?

After the option form window closes, the CET Cell will process the confirmed choices submitted by eligible candidates. Seat allotment will be prepared based on merit rank and the preferences entered in the option form. Candidates will be able to check their Round 4 allotment status through their candidate login on September 7, 2026. Candidates who receive a seat will have to complete the seat acceptance process within the prescribed deadline. This will include accepting the allotted seat, paying the applicable fee online and completing the admission process at the allotted institute.

How to Fill the MAH BCA CET 2026 CAP Round 4 Option Form?

1. Visit the official MAH BCA CET portal at bca2026.mahacet.org.
2. Click on the Candidate Login option.
3. Enter your application number and password.
4. Log in to your candidate account.
5. Check the provisional vacant seat list for Round 4.
6. Select your preferred colleges and BCA courses in order of preference.
7. Carefully review all the choices entered.
8. Confirm and lock the option form.
9. Save or print the acknowledgement receipt for future reference.

Who Can Participate in Round 4?

Registered MAH BCA CET 2026 candidates who remain unallotted can participate in the Round 4 option process. Candidates who received a lower-preference seat in an earlier round may also be eligible to participate, subject to the applicable CAP rules. Candidates who have already secured admission through CAP and frozen their allotted seat cannot participate in the option form process. Candidates who completed fresh registration earlier may also participate if their applications have been verified and they meet the eligibility requirements.
