MAH BBA CAP 2026 Provisional Vacant Seat List for Round 3 Out; @bba2026.mahacet.org.in

There's fresh movement for BBA, BCA, BMS, and BBM aspirants in Maharashtra — the MAH BBA CAP 2026 provisional vacant seat list for Round 3 is officially out. Candidates who didn't accept any seat in Round 2 can now check the college-wise vacant seats and submit their Confirmation of Option Form to stay in the running for Round 3 allotment.

The State CET Cell has opened the online submission and confirmation window from today, August 23, through Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Once that closes, the MAH BBA CAP 2026 Round 3 provisional seat allotment result will be declared on August 27, 2026.

How to Fill the Confirmation of Option Form

Checking the vacant seats and submitting your form takes just a few steps:

1. Go to the official portal: bba2026.mahacet.org.in
2. Click on the login option and enter your credentials.
3. Navigate to the Confirmation of Option Form for Round 3.
4. Review the list of colleges and category-wise vacant seats.
5. Fill in the required details and submit the form.

Freeze or Betterment: What Should You Choose?

MAH BBA CAP 2026 seat allotment runs across four rounds in total, and candidates can technically participate right up to the last one. But here's the catch — accepting a seat in any round automatically makes you ineligible for the next round, unless you specifically opt for the "Betterment" option instead of "Auto Freeze" in the seat acceptance form. So if you're hoping to upgrade your college or course later, don't forget to select Betterment before locking in your current seat.

What Happens After Round 3?

Once the Round 3 allotment list is out, there's still one more round left in the process. The last list of provisional vacant seats will be released on August 31, 2026, followed by the final seat allotment list on September 5, 2026 — giving candidates one final shot at securing a seat.

Good to Know About MAH BBA CET

Exam format and duration: The MAH BBA CET exam is a fully online, computer-based test held across various centres in Maharashtra, running for 120 minutes with no sectional time limit — candidates can move freely between sections within that window. Answers should be saved as you go, since the test ends automatically once time is up, and there's no provision to change your exam slot.

Eligibility: A minimum of 50% aggregate in Class 12 is required to apply, so scoring 70% or higher comfortably clears the bar. The syllabus itself doesn't go beyond Class 12 level, testing English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical/Abstract Reasoning.

No Class 12 results yet? No problem. Candidates can still participate in CAP counselling rounds without final Class 12 results. If shortlisted, admission is granted provisionally, with the marksheet to be submitted later for final confirmation.

Score validity and results: The MAH BBA CET 2026 result was released on June 11, and scores remain valid for admission only for the 2026-29 batch this year. Round-wise and category-wise cutoffs are published on the official website as the CAP process progresses.

Where it leads: A BBA through MAH BBA CET opens doors to both private and government UG colleges in Maharashtra, with career paths spanning finance, marketing, and operations after graduation.

Candidates are advised to keep checking bba2026.mahacet.org.in regularly and complete the Round 3 confirmation process well before the August 25 deadline to avoid missing out.
