MAH AYUSH UG CAP 2026 Registration Open: Last Date September 18, Check Eligibility and Documents

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has opened online registration for MAH AYUSH UG CAP 2026, covering BAMS, BHMS and BUMS admissions across the state. Registration is open at medical2026.mahacet.org and closes on September 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM server time. Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 are eligible to apply.

MAH AYUSH UG CAP 2026: Key Dates

Important Clarification: Does Group C (Physiotherapy) Need to Register Now?

The CET Cell divides its counselling into three groups: Group A (MBBS/BDS), Group B (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS), and Group C (BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BP&O, and reportedly BNYS). Based on the CET Cell's notice, the current September 14–18 registration window covers both Group B and Group C together — candidates targeting Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology seats should register now, in the same window as AYUSH candidates.

What is being announced separately is the subsequent round schedule for Group C — choice filling, the selection list, and joining dates — which the CET Cell has said will follow through its own notice. In short: register now regardless of group; watch for a separate notice only for the Group C round schedule. Candidates should confirm this against the official notice on medical2026.mahacet.org before assuming either way.

Who Is Eligible to Apply

• Candidates must have qualified NEET UG 2026.
• Applicants must meet the domicile and academic norms set by the CET Cell.
• Aspirants seeking BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery), or BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) seats must apply through this window.

Quota Structure

Maharashtra AYUSH seats are generally filled under two categories: an 85% State Quota, which requires a valid Maharashtra domicile certificate, and a 15% Institutional Quota in private colleges, which is open to candidates from outside the state. Candidates should verify their applicable quota and required domicile documents on the official portal before applying, as quota terminology can vary by notice.

Documents Required

Based on the CET Cell's registration requirements, candidates should keep scanned copies of the following ready:

• NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard
• Class 10 certificate and mark sheet
• Class 12 certificate and mark sheet
• Domicile certificate (for State Quota candidates)
• Nationality certificate
• Category/caste certificate, if applicable
• Non-creamy layer certificate, if applicable (OBC candidates)
• Valid photo ID proof
• Passport-size photographs

Candidates should cross-check this list against the official Information Brochure on medical2026.mahacet.org, as the exact enumerated checklist for this cycle was not independently confirmed.
