Today marks a crucial final deadline for all design aspirants in Maharashtra. The counselling process for the Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test (MAH-AAC CET) is set to conclude today, August 21, 2025. This final step is essential for all candidates to confirm their admission to some of the state’s most prestigious art and design colleges.

For all students who have participated in the MAH-AAC CET counselling rounds, ensuring that all document verification and fee payment formalities have been completed by today’s deadline is paramount to securing their allotted seats.

Countdown to 2026: Mark These Dates

As the 2025 admission cycle for many colleges winds down, the focus is already shifting to the highly competitive 2026 intake. For a new batch of aspirants, now is the perfect time to begin planning and preparing. The official notifications for India’s top design entrance exams are just around the corner.

  • NID-DAT 2026: The National Institute of Design (NID) is expected to release its official notification and open applications for the DAT 2026 in September 2025.
  • UCEED 2026 & CEED 2026: The application process for both the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) and the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is slated to begin on October 1, 2025. These are crucial exams for admission to top IITs and other premier institutions.
  • Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) 2026: The application window for SEED 2026 is already open and will remain so until November 30, 2025. Candidates interested in Symbiosis Institute of Design should apply well in advance.
  • Pearl Academy 2026: The first phase of applications for Pearl Academy's 2026 intake is also expected to open in September 2025.
