What Does the Round 3 Final Merit List Mean?

The final merit list indicates the candidate's relative merit position for the CAP process. It is not, by itself, a confirmation of admission to a particular college or course. Candidates who appear in the merit list must wait for the Round 3 seat allotment to know whether they have been allotted a seat based on the applicable merit, seat availability and submitted preferences. The Maharashtra CAP process makes clear that a merit-list position does not guarantee admission to a particular course or institute.

The Round 3 seat allotment result is scheduled for September 18, 2026 at 5:00 PM, according to the current counselling schedule reported for the five-year LLB CAP.
