This development comes as a significant update for thousands of aspirants who are yet to secure a seat or are looking to upgrade their college preference.

As per the official notification, the process for fresh choice filling and locking will commence on September 11, 2025, and will remain open until September 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM. This step is mandatory for all candidates who wish to participate in the second round, including those already admitted in Round 1 who are seeking to upgrade their seats. The seat allotment result for this round is scheduled to be published on September 16, 2025.

Seat Expansion and Key Dates

In a major relief for aspirants, the number of seats has been increased for the second round. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has approved the addition of seats at two government medical colleges in the state.
