The application process began on April 27, 2026, and will remain open until May 5, 2026 (4:00 PM). Candidates can apply online through the official website — cee.kerala.gov.in.
KMAT Kerala Session 2 is particularly beneficial for candidates who either missed the first session or wish to improve their scores. The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted in May 2026 in a computer-based test (CBT) mode across all districts of Kerala.
The exam will be of three hours duration, consisting of 180 objective-type questions carrying a total of 720 marks. Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. The test will assess candidates across four key areas: English Language and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Data Sufficiency, and General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
In terms of eligibility, candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree of at least three years duration in any discipline such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, or Management. Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria at the time of admission. Notably, there is no age limit, making the exam accessible to a wide range of applicants.
The application fee is ₹1,000 for General and SEBC candidates, ₹500 for SC candidates, while ST candidates are exempted from paying any fee. The entire application process is online, requiring candidates to register, fill in their academic and personal details, upload necessary documents, and complete the fee payment.
Candidates must ensure that all details provided in the application form are accurate, as any discrepancy may lead to rejection. Additionally, applicants are advised to complete their registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
To qualify for admission, General and SEBC candidates must secure a minimum of 10% of the total marks (72 marks), while SC/ST/PD candidates need at least 7.5% (54 marks). The exact exam date and further instructions will be announced soon on the official portal.
